Winnie Tam SBS, SC, JP is Co-Chairman of Des Voeux Chambers, where she specializes in international arbitration and intellectual property law. Her practice focuses on international commercial arbitration and high-stakes intellectual property litigation.

Her early career was marked by significant achievements in the legal profession, being admitted to the Hong Kong Bar in 1984 and appointed as Senior Counsel in 2006. She served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association from 2015 to 2017 and held the prestigious position of Recorder of the High Court of Hong Kong from 2015 to 2023.

Throughout her career, she has established herself as a leading figure in international arbitration, serving on multiple prestigious panels including ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, and CIETAC. She has extensive experience in arbitrations administered under various international rules and is qualified to practice in Hong Kong, England and Wales, Singapore, and China's Greater Bay Area.

In addition to her functions at Syngenta Group, Winnie Tam currently holds the following positions:

• She also serves as Member of the Chief Executive's Council of Advisers, and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors, Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Ltd.
