Employees cheer while our
Syngenta Group Ambassador wins the race
Emotional, energizing, inspiring. That's how we would sum up the 2023 Lauberhorn races at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Wengen, Switzerland, where our Syngenta Group Ambassador won two races in two days.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains, the Lauberhorn races are among the longest, fastest and most challenging runs in the world. It's no wonder that the weekend attracts over 40,000 spectators and we were proud see our employees cheering amongst them.
The Lauberhorn races are close to our heart for a few reasons. Firstly, due to Syngenta Group's Swiss roots: our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland and multiple sites throughout the country.
Secondly, because of our Syngenta Group Ambassador Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, two-time Olympic medalist competing in this year's Alpine Ski World Cup.
120 employees and friends of Syngenta Group from all across Switzerland came together to show their support for Aleksander, connect, cheer and enjoy the unique atmosphere in Wengen.
It was a privilege to be there to watch Aleksander win both the Super-G and Downhill races and to witness the outstanding team performance of the Swiss ski champions.
